§ 8.2. Amendment of zoning ordinance.

The town council may, by ordinance, require that whenever the planning commission recommends against the adoption of any proposed amendment to the zoning ordinance of the town, now or hereafter in effect, such amendment shall become effective only upon the affirmative vote of two-thirds of the elected members of the town council.
